2. About This Application
World Cup Smart Cards is a personal sticker-tracking application for the FIFA World Cup 2026 Panini album. It operates entirely offline and locally on your device. No data is transmitted to any external server.
3. Data Collected by the Application Itself
The application does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All information you record (owned stickers, duplicates, trades) is saved exclusively in local storage on your device and never leaves it.
There is no:
- User account or registration
- Login or authentication
- Data upload to servers
- Behaviour tracking or analytics
- Location collection
4. Data Collected by Third Parties — Advertising (AdMob)
The application uses or may use Google AdMob, an advertising service operated by Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). When displaying ads, AdMob may automatically collect:
- Advertising identifier (GAID on Android / IDFA on iOS)
- IP address (used to infer approximate location)
- Device information (model, operating system, language)
- Ad interaction data
- App usage data for ad personalisation
These data are processed by Google under its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time:
- Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalisation
- iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking (disable for this app)
5. Legal Basis — European Union (GDPR)
For users in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, data processing is governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

6. Legal Basis — United States (CCPA / CPRA)
For California residents, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) apply.
The application itself collects no personal information. The AdMob SDK may collect personal information as a service provider for advertising purposes.
- Right to Know: Request disclosure of categories and specific pieces of personal information collected.
- Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information we hold.
- Right to Opt-Out: We do not sell personal information. You may opt out of cross-context behavioural advertising via your device advertising settings.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: Exercising your rights will not result in discriminatory treatment.

7. Data Retention
Data generated locally by the application remains on your device until the app is uninstalled or you use the "Reset collection" function. Data processed by AdMob is subject to Google's retention policy.
8. Security
Local app data is stored in the application's private SQLite database, protected by Android and iOS sandboxing mechanisms, accessible only by this application.
9. Children's Privacy
This application is not directed at children under 13 years of age (or under 16 in the EEA where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child's data has been inadvertently collected, please contact us immediately.
